Information we send
The App only sends the words you enter, the current scene and items in the game, a random per-device number, and purchase records.
- Words you enter What you say (turned into text by your iPhone's speech recognition) and what you type.
- Game state The scene you are in and the items you are holding.
- Per-device number A random number (UUID) the App creates the first time it starts. It is used only to count your remaining talks. It is not linked to your name or to your device's hardware information.
- Purchase records The transaction ID, product and date of your App Store purchases. Used to add talks to your balance.
We do not collect your name, email address, postal address, phone number, location, or advertising identifier. Your voice itself is never sent. Please do not type your name or contact details into the game.
Where it goes and how it is used
Your words are sent to an AI (Jev by TypeSafe AI) to interpret them, and recorded on the App's server to manage your talks and improve the game.
- TypeSafe AI (the AI "Jev") Receives the words you enter and the game state, and determines which action you are trying to take. Requests pass through Vercel's AI Gateway.
- The App's server (running on Cloudflare's services) Manages your remaining talks and verifies purchases. The words you enter and the resulting judgments are recorded to improve the game's interpretation and story.
- Apple Speech-to-text (your iPhone's speech recognition) and purchase processing are handled by Apple, under Apple's privacy policy.
The first time you open the App, we ask for your consent to this before the game starts.
What we don't do
We do not show ads, track you across other apps or websites, or sell any information.
We do not use information for any purpose other than those described above, and we do not share it with third parties except as required by law.
Retention and deletion
Records are kept only as long as needed to improve the game. Contact us if you would like them deleted.
When you delete the App, the information stored on your device (the per-device number, your consent, the endings you have seen, etc.) is removed as iOS normally does. To request deletion of server records, contact us using the details on the support page.
